NYSAFLT 100K for 100 Years John D. Carlino Legacy Fund

In 2017, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our organization, NYSAFLT established the 100K for 100 years fund under John Carlino’s guidance and support. The fund was renamed the NYSAFLT 100K for 100 Years John D. Carlino Legacy Fund in 2022, at the time of John’s passing.

In NYSAFLT’s letter to its members when the campaign was first launched, John wrote, “NYSAFLT has played an integral role in our personal and professional experiences as teachers and leaders in the world language profession. Through NYSAFLT, we have forged life-long friendships with colleagues across the state, nation, and even the world. Through this powerful network, we have become critical players in the decisions that affect the direction of world language education.”

When you donate to this fund, we hope that you will remember the strong advocate, mentor, and friend John was to language teachers not only in New York but across the nation and beyond. We hope to continue to sustain NYSAFLT’s goals and activities to support language teachers and rise to their needs.

Goal$105,613$100,000
